Default Mount Abu Summer Festival

The Mount Abu Summer Festival is celebrated in the month of June, annually. As the name suggests, the festival takes place at the only hill station of Rajasthan, namely Mount Abu.

The festival continues for three days and portrays the culture, traditions and tribal life of Rajasthan. Classical and folk music are the highlights of the Summer Festival.
The festival begins with the singing of a ballad. This is followed by a performance of folk dance that thoroughly entertains the spectators. Sports events like boat races are organized on the Nakki Lake.

Have you ever witnessed the Mount Abu Summer Festival?

The Mout Abu Summer Festival begins with the singing of a ballad. The folk dancers of Rajasthan then entertain the spectators with their performances. Sports events are organized during the festival, which include an enjoyable boat race on the Nakki Lake.

Another major attraction of the Summer Festival is Sham-e-Qawwali, which is a musical extravaganza. In this program, acclaimed qawwals from all over India perform and mesmerize the audience.

This June festival highlights the culture, traditions and tribal life of Rajasthan. Rajasthani folk music is at its best in this festival. The festival ends with impressive fireworks.

The airport nearest to the festival site is at Udaipur while the nearest railway station is at Abu Road.
