Hi friends! I am planning a short visit to Rajasthan to see the summer festival at Mount Abu. Here are a few lines about the festival.

The Summer Festival is held every year at the hill Station of the Rajasthan, Mount Abu in the month of June.The beautiful town of Mt. Abu with its tranquil lakes, rocky terrain, serene lakes, picturesque locations and the pleasant climate make it an ideal venue for the festival. The three day festival showcases the traditions, culture and the tribal life of Rajasthan. The feast of Folk and classical music is the highlight of the Summer Festival.

The summer festival of Rajasthan begins with the singing of a Ballad. This is followed by vibrant performances of the folk dancers. Another major attraction of the festival is the boat race which is organized on the Nakki Lake. The festival also includes the very popular Sham-e- Qawwali. Well known Qawwals from all over India enthrall the audience. The festival comes to an end with a dazzling display of fireworks.
