shopping in Trivandrum

Can anyone please tell me which is the best place to shop in Trivandrum for Indian salwar suits and may be some western weat too. Also I need to buy some good quality massage oils. Does Trivandrum city itself have any upmarket shopping malls?

Also is there a good dependable tailor in the city? Last time I was there I used a tailor next to Parthas but he ruined all the stuff I gave him to stitch for me. I as very disappointed as my most treasured material pieces were ruined!

at present we have a 'Big Bazar' .......pazhavangadi, and also attukal shopping complex........eastfort, STYLEPLUS...kowdiar etc......ok

very good and timely.........ok

Hi Sumi,

I am taking the liberty to ask a further question about Trivandrum/Kovalam. Can you recommend any good upmarket vegetarian restaurants? Believe it or not we live in UK but we are all pure vegetarian! I am already dreaming of the tasty veg meals and Dosa, Idli, Uppama (I am sure I am not spelling these correctly) and not forgetting the uttapam..yummy!!
