thnk u choco...yep i also decided togo to singer...but nt yet decided to take leg machine one. coz we r moving here one place to another place, its nt comfort to move that whole set. thts my prob. if possible i prefer leg machine only....
The Singer leg machine is not a heavy one. Its very light.If you are in US its not heavy at all. I have moved lots of time with my sewing machine. Its just a single foot pedal here which is a leg machine.Sometimes when its a simple patch up I press the foot pedal in hand and get it done in a jiffy.Works well for me both ways.If you get the Singer machine get it with its own case. That can be used to carry it when moving . It houses the machine well and nothing is damaged while moving. Good Luck.
