Default How do you purchase kitchen appliance for an use in India ?

Hi Gals;

I want to send Cuisinart or Krups coffee grinder to India. My aunt wants to use the coffee grinder for grinding nuts or spices in small quantity. I was wondering while looking at the different model around as none of them mentioning the power requirements for the unit. As all products are for US, I am not sure whether any of the electric appliance will work in India with 240 V.

Please, ladies, suggest a model if you have ever sent to India. If not, please, do share your experiences to buy one for Indian use.

There are online sites with 240v appliances that you can order. Lots of different models. Try googling.

Hello...............

Thanks for sharing this. Home appliances are integral to modern lifestyles. Choosing the right home appliances not only saves time but also make life much easier and comfortable. Home appliances can be classified into two groups: white goods and brown goods. The brown home appliances include electrical entertainment appliances like CD and DVD players, Tvs, etc. On the other hand, major home appliances and home kitchen appliances that use electricity are called white goods and include Acs, dishwashers, stoves, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, etc.

Thanks
Have a nice time a head
