    Hey Friends,

    Help me out here. My MIL Bday is approaching and my hubby had advised me long back to send something good (pattu saree) this time since shes 50 now.

    Can you guys give me some trustworthy online sites, where we can send gifts to chennai (that you have used earlier). Also it shud have pattu sarees. Please let me know today. Got to send it out today :-( completely forgot and i will get caught if I did not order it today Big LaughDrowning

    Hi, just bumping this thread for my question. Does anybody know a good site to send gift certificates or vouchers to India, like gift certificates for Dominoes Pizza, or 5 star local restaurants? Or, ummm, maybe a local mall in Delhi/Gurgaon area?? Please suggest.

    Where did u order saree from ? I was searching a lot for sending diwali saree. But lost hope .

    Hope you ordered ur pattu saree Nandhu...

    Pothys.com has a collection of pattu sarees. But it is definitely not extensive.

    If someone has links to good websites, please post!!

    I ordered thru pothys :)

    It was a good service I should say. For chennai, they do delivery in person. I requested that since its a gift, no receipt :)

    Hi...after reading this post, I went and checked out pothys.com and I have to say despite it having not too wide a variety, the stuff out there is really good. I ordered three sarees for my mom...Their kanjivaram collection is just beautiful and really traditionsl...Thanks for the suggestion...

    Hi,

    my opinion is to send gift cards to them so that they can do shopping by themselves .most of the time buying sarees in online does not work recently i purchased a pochampalli sarees for my mother n she recieved different saree n also the color i ordered was completely different compared to online color.So think before buying online sarees.
