Buying Gold -US or India is better?

Hi

I am planning to buy some jewels from India. What is the best and cheap as well as worthy way to buy, either getting gold from US and then making ornaments in India or directly getting ornaments in India itself?

Gold prices are increasing throughout the world at the same rate. So as far as the price is concerned, it doesn't matter you buy in India or in US. Regarding the purity of Gold, I have heard many say the Gold coins/bars bought in the US are relatively good compared to buying in India. But if you are buying 916 jewels they are of the same standard everywhere.

BTW, why don't you take a look at already existing discussions on the same topic by doing a search? If you think your question is not addressed in those discussions, you may want to post in one of those existing threads to revive the discussion than starting all together a new one here. That way members will also be interested in responding to you as opposed to thinking this has already been discussed. Why again?
