Wedding Gift for My Sis

Hi Ladies,

My younger sis is getting married coming jan/07. I am wondering if anybody have any nice ideas abt gift???? She is really very wonderful sis & i want to give her some good & nice gift.

Plz help me ladies. Give me some good ideas.

Cheer, she is your own sister and surely you know some of the things what your sister loves..
a beautiful ring or necklace if she loves ornaments..since this is the wedding time and more importance for ornaments, right, especially among Indians?

I have some options in my mind, but i just want to know some other good ideas. I'm thinking of giving her good gold/diamond set. But just wondering abt other options too.

Like Safa said, gold will be a better option if you want the gift to be exclusively for your sis. That way, she will have it as an asset and she will use it personally. Or else you could get her things she needs to set up home. But I would say gold will be a better choice.

Ornaments are the best option as they last forever.

Since you are from US i was just wondering if your sis is also settled in US then diamonds or pearls would be a better choice than gold as gold is not in vouge in the US.

gold is one thing none can say anything abt it is the leading, but sometime some things become more wonderful according to the needs, i have found these ceramic bowls which u can microwave and which is very expensive in india and not the right size available, if she is good at baking u could get all the stuff even the moulds are not like how it is in ur place...regards sunkan
