hi all,

like many here i also vote for faberware. but what ever be the case go for the set, also do not use the nonstick vessels in the diswasher try to clean it with your hand tis will increase the vessels life. also have just one or 2 for the rest go for the stainless steel ones b'cos i chaged 3 sets in 3 yrs. though i still have few vessels in each set. the one that u use very frequently will have a very short life.

sure

I use the biggest tava for dosas
the middle 2 tavas for tadkas or stir fry veggies and omelettes
the biggest pots for cooking for large parties eg chola, pav bhaji etc
the smaller pots for veg curries/gravies

hmmn I have used the smaller pots for frying ... but even the smallest one takes a lot of oil . so have a separate kadai just for frying.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for the responses.I was not preferring to buy sets as I will be using only few of those, just needed to make curry,so i think will go for a pan .I will use stainless steel for remaining ..

Hi,
which one is good for deep frying purpose like poori, papad etc., In all the shops i see only the frying pan skillet type not the deep frying one... Can you please tell me which one i can go for & where can i get it. The kadai which i used till now has lost its teflon coat probably because always i use it at high flame to deep fry...
I need to get one soon... Waiting for making poori...
