Sewing machine in USA to take India

    Hi all,
    friends I need suggestion regarding sewing machine brands (economical and not so high end to to simple stitching)to buy in USA.if it works perfectly back in India. Am I allowed to take it in flight.

    Hi babuni,
    You can buy singer sewing machines in the US. U can get them online on eBay or amazon etc. These machines can be brought to India and work perfectly fine ...just need to get a small transformer connected to it before plugging it. U can buy that here once back in India. U ll get it for hundred two hundred rupees.
    U can tag the box fragile and check it in, when u wanna bring it to India. It won't be any heavy but will be counted as one piece of luggage. But if u have a big box , add clothes and other stuff around this box and pack and check this in!
