Default Wal-Mart?

I buy my weekly groceries in Wal-Mart. But off late I am wondering whether should I continue to blindly shop at Wal-Mart.

The staff is not very courteous in helping you find stuff, the line in the counter is long and selection is sometimes not the best?

Am I the only person feeling like that or are there other people who are feeling same way? Also, is "Low Prices, Always" still true?

Default Low price - Low quality too

In Walmart I always prefer billing in self checkout counter, for we know better than the staff the everyday low prices and item codes so can verify it in their system.

I always have noticed food items bought there cannot be stored and used for long. It is good for immediate use - I guess that's the low quality we get for low prices

Default Discounted less prices is still true

I do agree that some items selections would not be the best in Walmart.
But I feel still they are giving good discount in prices.

I recently bought perfumes for my s-i-l back in India and later I saw the same brand and size of perfumes for a higher price in two other stores.

May be they should improve in attending customers by employing more "May-I-help-you"? people.
