'zip-n-match' silk sarees--new arrival

Sri Kumaran stores, which had earlier introduced innovations like colour-changing saris, pocket sari and 'jodi pattu' (embroidered silk saris with matching embroidered silk shirt and dhoti), launched the hand-woven pure silk saris with a set of interchangeable 'pallus' in matching yet different shades of colour.

P J Ravi, partner, Sri Kumaran stores, said four 'pallus'-- with intricate embroidery, attractive crystal work, stunning zari woven designs and a two-tone pallu -- would be provided along with each sari. A set of matching blouses would also be provided.

Can't wait to see how that looks! Just got the info. Thought of sharing with you all.

Hi,

I just visited Sri Kumaran Stores Website. The new 'colour-changing saris' mentioned by Sindhuja is available in the range Rs. 4599 - Rs.10400. The Pocket Saree is of the range between Rs.4100 to Rs.4600.

There are 'Hand Bag Sarees' also. 'Landscape Saree' is another innovative saree. This is Pure handwoven Kanchipuram Silk Saree with double side border, Pallu with rich intricate thred woven design bringing landscapes to life (highlighted) and thread woven landscape as shoulder butta. This saree is available in two colours : Maroon and Black in the price range : Rs.20874.

The other one 'Jodi Pattu' is available in the range of Rs.7000.
