Default Eyebrow Threading

hi,

are there any methods which we can do at home to avoid threading at parlors. its little difficult for me to find parlors around my area which do threading. so,im thinking what else i could do to shape my brows at home.
does anyone do eyebrow shaping on their own? any suggestions for me?

I always use "Nair face wax strips" for eyebrows and upper lips. It does a clean job. Just takes less than 5 minutes if you get good hands on it.

As Uma suggested, you can use Nair or Sally Hansen's waxing strips. I am using Sally Hansen's (bought in Walmart) microwaveable wax. That works good too. Just you need to heat it for few minutes and apply.

Hi Neha
I use tweezers to do my eyebrows, much cleaner and easier for me. I do every 5 days, so do not allow the excess hair to grow too long when tweezing becomes a struggle.
For upper lip and chin, I do self threading. Just very easy - buy the thread spool from any beauty shops, take a length of it, knot it on one end and twirl the other end between your thumb and first finger and do the scissoring action as done in the beauty parlor. Nair's facial wax strips have not worked for me, probably my growth is thicker than normal

Dear Neha,
Whenever I use wax strips, I cut them into thin strips and use it. Recently, I have started using microwaveable wax for upper lip and eyebrows. I feel the MW wax is lot easier. You just apply it on the eyebrow where you have excess hair and that's it.

i live in queens...i have one indian parlor close-by ...but dat lady never does a good job...i go thr coz i dont have options....i always tip her and still she messes my threading .... so i thought better to stop to depend on parlors!! i do not know how non-indian parlors are for threading..i have many around me but scared to try.....

if i ever go to chambers street...i shall try out the place u have told....
thank you.
