Hi,

I have some experience in this area. I had hair growth in the upperlip and chin area mostly. In my opinion if you can try natural methods other than laser and it takes care, try not to go for laser becoz for me it didnt work the first time (7 sittings) and it only got worse but the second time i went to a different place in hyderabad and it kind of worked but it took a lot of sittings for me. Try to get as much feedback about a place as possible before joining.

As for the side effects for me there was a little light stinging effect when they are doing the laser, some itching, and some redness which disappeared after 1-2 hrs or so and a light swelling and when i applied ice pack for 1-2 hrs it was gone. I had no burns or scars. I didnt have much pain.
I guess it also depends on each individuals body system. What doesnt work for one may work for another and vice-versa. Hope this helps.

Goodluck,
Swapna.

Have tried.
If it's genetic/hormonal you wanta get the hormones treated first. Even Kaya clinic tells you, it will grow back.
Teh lser gets rid of heavier hairs.
If you are liek me and have lotsa hair, it won't work.
If you do try, and get red spots etc..they need to adjust the machine. SO do go for professionals.
You are shaved first. It's funny cuz you feel the hairs being zapped like an insect on those light repellants. you do smell burning hair.
But relatively safe procedure as long as you go by experienced, educated person/clinic.

Hi,
I wanted to share my experience in laser hair removal for my upper lip,
Well first there was a slightly bitting sensation, later i was used to it.
My first 3 treatment , i find my hair growth was slower. But i had the 4th treatment , and i got a burned mark on the upper cheek after 1yr the mark does not seem to dissapper. I am almost applying all types of cream but no improvement. The doctor told me its becos of his new machine , i got it burned.
Now i stopped doing it and try threading bocos the hair growth is fine now.
regards
