Hello Jeny,

Nice meeting you! Good resolution.....home wax, but all you need is time and patience! Practice, waxing becomes damn easy...
experience also counts.

All you need: Wax heater/canister, baby powder, strips, spatula/butter-knife to spread wax, wax remover/any oil and finally wax....see if you can find flavors out there...you get honey, aloe vera...

Baby powder is to absorb the moisture, grab the hair better and help wax become non-sticky...find out if you get soothing wipes post-wax....of course you find pre-wax oils too....but, have to search.

TIP: Post-waxing, do not get right into the water at least for some time like 6 hours...because its like a fresh open wound and you are going to irritate that and in return, it hurts...dont get too ambitious...as it is your first time. GO for smaller sections...

To be honest, I no nothing about sugar wax. Sorry, I could not help on that!

Jeny,

I am not so sure, but stil you can find out from your beautician....if she is helpful on that issue...flavors are just for your sake...choose them as you like...nothing special!

Jeny,

The only difference is the temperature at which you apply them. The hot wax method involves melting before use. Once the wax is warm and melted, it is applied to the skin.

Cold wax...wax is already applied to the pulling strip. The wax is in a semi-solid state and remains that way throughout the process. To use cold wax, apply the strip to the area of hair that you want, press down hard in the direction of hair growth and quickly pull the strip off in the opposite direction.

Hope this helps!

hi jeny,
take 2 lemons, from that you extract clear juice (filter it), then add 10 teaspoons sugar. mix it throughly and boil it in a slow fire. while boiling stir it continiously. after 5 to 10 minutes you can get a hot wax. this will be what exactly the peoples used in parlours for waxing. cool it to desired level(warm condition). now it is ready for waxing . you can try it..
