I am new to this forum. I would like to ask what exactly is kasturi turmeric bcoz i have heard kasturi methi it is sukhi methi in India and turmeric is haldi but is kasturi turmeric a different one.

It might not be the correct solution for everybody. Whenever i use it i get a big rash of pimples and only goes away when i stop using it.

I dont think its the normal tumeric powder that you get in stores for cooking..

Hi pooja, yeah its true that kasturi turmeric powder to prevent hair growth..

But as this very strog and affective, when used on face. It forms a yellow layer on skin and makes skin to look harsh and aged.. cause this powder should be applied daily on face as de results are very slow..!!

I have used fot four days and observed this change on mah face, so stopped using now.. I dont how it works on others but this was my experience!!

Kasturi Turmeric is a family of Turmeric and it is very mild in terms of color. In India (Tamil Nadu) We used to buy them fresh and dry them in sunlight and powder them for daily use. We apply them all over the body to prevent the growth of hair. Well, it would not be available in US or any other countries, and this powder is available in Chennai (Mylapore) in some auyervedic stores which are good. It is a slow process and a natural remedy.
