hi,
i use eyebrow thread, specially made for threading itself..i don't know whether u get it in US..
but, i tried practising using stitching thread...this thread is too weak to do threading but still u can manage with it..try practicing this method on ur legs first instead on upperlips..
i hv tried this method n now i can do on my own..
all the best

Hi there,

Recently, I attended a workshop on ' self threading'. A middle-aged Chinese woman was explaining the history, the technique & she aso did a demo.

Well, she was telling that the threading originated in the Middle East. Arabs were the first to use this technique to remove unwanted hair. Normally, they use ONLY COTTON (pure white cotton thread) as it touches the skin deeply. She also said you can do self-threading to any part of the body (including the bikini area) but only regular practice can make this art perfect!

Yes! It is quite tiring job but one can definitely get through out of practice!

Hi,
If you have good practice then threading is very easy.
First practice on your legs and then try doing it on others.
For upperlips, chins its very easy to do it useselves.

Good luck ladies.
