Ltte chief prabhakaran shot dead!

LTTE Chief Velupillai Prabhakaran was shot dead this morning while trying to flee from Govt. forces.

It is believed that even his son Charles Antony and few commandos were also shot dead along with him.

The body has been identified by the Lankan troops. I could see a bullet mark on the right eye of Prabhakaran. Source : NDTV 24X7 News channel and Times Now News channel.

 

No, it is not a rumor. The Srilankan troop had confirmed and the body is shown in the TV. It is being shown in Times Now and NDTV every now and then.

 

A famous astrologer had already given a prediction regarding Prabhakaran's existence.

As per the astrologer - May 18th is the "fate deciding" date for his life. Either he would captured or killed by 18th. If he escapes from his fate it would be very difficult for Raja Pakshe to capture him and put everything in order.

 

Now the Srilankan troop says that the body which is being shown in TV belongs to Prabhakaran's son Charles Antony.

They even confirmed the death of Prabhakaran but his body is not shown yet. I do not know what would be the reason. They are waiting for certain evidences and orders from the Govt.

Brig Udaya Nayakkara, Spokesperson, SL Army spoke to Times.

As per him - Prabhakaran's son Charles Antony body has been identified. The whole area has been liberated by SL Army. The remaining LTTE Cadre were eliminated.

The cadre identification is going on. The names would be confirmed and declared by 6 pm.

Senior military officials said troops closed in on Prabhakaran and his final cadre early Monday.


He and his top deputies then drove an armor-plated van accompanied by a bus filled with rebel fighters toward approaching Sri Lankan forces, sparking a two-hour firefight, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.


Troops eventually fired a rocket at the van, ending the battle, they said. Troops pulled Prabhakaran's body from the van and identified it as that of the rebel leader, they said. The attack also killed Soosai, the head of the rebels' naval wing, and Pottu Amman, the group's feared intelligence commander, the officials said.
