Hi,

Shree, son of the noted music director Shankar Ganesh, married actress Shamitha on April 30th, 2009. Shamitha had starred in the Tamil film Pandavar Bhoomi, before turning her attention to the small screen. Shree is also a noted television actor and is currently featuring in several television serials like Siva Sakthi, Nanal, Ruthra and Mekala. Shree reportedly met Shamitha while shooting for the television serial Siva Sakthi. Incidentally, Shamitha also plays a prominent role in the same serial.
The wedding took place at the Accord Hotel in T. Nagar, Chennai at 7:30 am on April 30th. A reception will be hosted for the newlyweds at the same hotel on May 1st from 6:30 pm onwards.

Do u know tht he was married before? I saw 3 yrs ago a cook show where he tld tht his wife taught him how to cook a paticular dish.

thanks for the details Vidhya. I too saw the pictures but because we don't have indian channels here i didn't know who they were. Though I thought the bride looked familiar. I liked her nice acting in Pandavar Boomi.

One question I have... why is Shankar Ganesh wearing gloves and such funny costumes? He looks a bit wierd!

dear latha,
the hands of Ganesh were fully burnt, because of a bomb blast which he received through the post. when he tried to open it it burst. from that time he is wearing the gloves to cover the scar. his dressing sense is zero. always he will always dress like this only.now your doubt is cleared.
