Blocked English Movie Channels

In Mumbai and most cities of Maharashtra all English movie channels such as HBO, Star Movies, AXN are blocked. No channel is telecasted. Reason? They are showing adult movies late night. I dont think they are showing any objectionable movie or adult movie and late night should be ok. What do you say?

These channels have restarted now. Blocking HBO, Star Movies and other such great channels was a stupid decision. They show good movies and adults should have option to watch any movie. As for children, parents can block these channels on their tv for children!

The cable operators have even blocked, Star One, Set Max, Star Gold and Sahara channels. What was "A" certified shown on them??? These channels done show adult movies and even if they do, they cut the adult part. I know when the movie Murder was shown on Set Max, it was only of 45 minutes duration..Why? All adult scenes were censored and only 45 minutes movie remained uncensored !!!

To avoid all such blockings, now we should resort to satellite TV such as Tata sky and Dish TV. They have great clarity and all channels are shown. Cable operators show very poor picture quality and has snow in all channels including Star One, Star plus, Zee and Sony.

Does anybody have the review of the new Satellite TV service Tata Sky? They are doing extensive ads on TV and the option looks good as compared to Cable TV. I am willing to switch to Tata Sky but anybody's review will help my decision. So, if any of you know about this server, let me know please.
