Your favourite and hated TV advertisement

Hi ILites,

I am a person who is inclined towards appreciating others creativity when It is done more responsibly. I would appreciate ILites speaking here about their most liked and hated TV advertisement. Also would like you explain a few reasons for liking or hating the specific TV advt.

Let me start by telling about my favourite and hated advt n the recent days.

I loved the TV advt of Times of India where a child comes forward to clear the fallen tree which blocks the road. Thus people get the positive energy flowing among them and every one comes to the childs help than waitng for some one else to do it for them


I hated the IPL knight riders advt where the lady gets another guy into prblem just because he supports an opponent team. I really dont understand how people get such ideas where they try to do a cold murder on our highly followed spirit of "Unity in Diversity" for a sport

PS: thanks for the motivational thread created by other ILites on advt. which inspired me to write this new thread. Expecting the same enthusiasm of replies from you ILites.

My favorite is:
I think it is a Rin soap ad. Two boys get fight to avoid their parents fighting with each other for hitting car in a road side.Nice one.
another one is, one boy try to get chocolate from the machine but he could nt get, finally he tried some how and the chocolates will be coming out of the machine continuously. This ad is for insurance company.Creative as well as nice one.

Idiotic ads:
Ads for Axe, like if the boy puts spray in his dress then girls will be attracted and go with them.There are lot of ads of such kind.

My favourite ad - a brother & sister walking down from scheool, the kid sister falls down in a muddy puddle & starts crying. The brother smartly starts hitting the puddle to make his sister stop crying.... I don't know the product , must be surf or ariel, but a very cute ad, wish I'd a brother like him.

The most disturbing ad - all the mosquito repellent ads, that too when shown outside india in satellite televisions.
It gives a very bad impression , as if mosquitoes are breed here. Hope the channels start monitoring these kind of ads.

I love all the ads promoted by Hutch (Vodaphone).. they carry nice concept & lot of meaning and especially the cute dog its self a big star... They silently delivers the message without speaking a single word...!!

And i hate soft drinks ads like pepsi, cococola, fanta where ppl go crazy to catch them and have a sip....

My latest favourite ad is of VODAFONE.

I also like the ad of Max Life Insurance.

There are so many ads ... mainly with children that are very cute ... but a couple of them dont appear regularly now ..

1. My most loved ad.. the kid who gets a piggy bank from his grandfather and carries it with him all the time ... that child has the cutest expression on his face ..

2.. the most obnoxious ad that i have been seeing in the last couple of days is for the Indian express ..a man is reading a paper and hears a farting sound ... this goes on thrice ... most distasteful .. what are they trying to say ????

Reliance's Bol India Bol was also gud one, though its not aired now.

I too hate ads for Axe, they are ridiculous... I did not like virgin mobile ads either, they convey wrong messages.

Even I like the latest vodafone ad. It is really cute - both the girl and the dog. Another ad which I liked is some job ad where the employee spells out his boss's name - Hari Sadu. A very innovative and funny ad. Lots are there. But I am unable to remember now.

I don't like amul innerwear ads.
