Thank You all for updating me with all the happenings of ISS 2008. I started seeing the program only today after my vacation. But could find what was happening for the last two weeks from this thread.

So now, Unnikrishnan, Ouseppachan, and Eswari Madam are the permanent judges? Has MGS gone out of the panel?

Right in time for the contests. We were watching all the boring auditions .

I had started getting bored but then my husband will never.. He was watching as usual and I have told him that I'll get an excel sheet for him to put in all the scores. He is very happy with that.

No Meena,

LRE hasn't gone. She has been interchanging with Sujatha and Vani jayaram as judges.

I think MGS is out of the contest. They must have asked him to be there for auditions for the new judges to get used. The set of judges yesterday was quite lively and the Devi also was very good. She has taken the place of Meera Nandan quite nicely but the place has changed. The malayalam speaking girl is the main anchor and the engish ( Manglish actually ) speaking one as the second anchor.
Fourth judge was Thilakan yesterday and I think it is going to be actors as the fourth celebrity judges. there were many shown coming in the first, Srinivasan was also there in that list.

I am going to get an excel spread sheet ready for my husband. It is interesting now, once the gossip starts like last time I might opt out of this.. I'll get upset more than bored. Why can't these people be truthful? and straight forward.. I hope we'll not hear anything bad about these judges.
This time I think the judges will be changing now and then.. Let us hope for a good contest.
Yesterday Parvathy and Somu were very good. I liked Parvathy's voice very much .

Very true...once the rumours start, the genuineness of the show will b lost, and we too find it difficult to digest it. I still remember all the conflicts regarding Varun.J.Tilak's elimination.

Cudn't come on line for quite some time due to various problems in power n modem etc. etc.. Thanks all for updating on the ISS happenings.. we cudn't watch it also due to signal problems.. bad times... enthu parayaanaa...

yesterday i cud see only the end part.. Now the competiton has really started... Yesterday MGS was not there.. is he out of the panel. ? Thilakan was there. Eswariyamma speaks in Tamil mostly.. and i don't understand sometimes... but she seems to be a soft person, who don't want to harass the singers.
So our thread leader manju is back now, ya? good to see that.
Is it melody round which is going on now?

Now the rounds going on are Melody Round and Performance Round...4 people performed yesterday...2 in Melody and 2 in performance round.
