I cudn't see iSS 2008 for 1 whole week. here sometimes, don't get asianet 'cos of bad signal problems.. Good to see all the posts and thanks all for updations on it. yesterday i saw it and vivekanand was one very good singer. Arabhi sang confidently. She will add spice to the coming episodes. Some contestants seemed to be lacking in confidence.
One contestant Ajay Sathyan was there in super star in Amritha TV back in 2005 . He reached there in the final three also. Anyone remembering him? He's reached the next round in ISS. He was a boy then, now i cudn't recognise him . watch out for this one..
Don't u think judges looked bored?. MGS was seen eating snacks.

I'm also waiting for the end of audition rounds...Is Manju Back?

Manju will be back only on the 17th May.

I do not know about Ajay Satyan, I do not watch Amritha TV. I think we are going to see a very good competition. Vivekanand and Parvathy were finalists at ISS asianet 2006 and Ajay was a finalist in Amritha TV . So letus see what happens.

Yesterday Sanju or Samju was the only person who got in. The rest were out and one I think was wait listed.

Not only MGS, even the audiience and Unni krishnan were seen eating.. I think they serve snacks for the audience and the judges there.

The programme is a bit on the boring side.Most of the singers are "raw" - need heavy fine-tuning!

Nice chatting in this thread right? Yesterday in ISS, there was a blind guy who sang beautifully.. he is a music college student. Name i forgot. The song was "sangeethame amara sallaapame" from movie Sargam. It was very good.

A lot of participants seem raw as chitvish said. Some of the performances were below average. when is the audition round ending...???
In the panel of judges Unnikrishan is my favourite. What abt u?

Btw,i'm also called chithra at home.

So, my guess is right.
This forum has X no: of Chit(h)ras, Priyas, Vidyas, Lathas......
I like Sujatha - she is very warm & friendly.
I don't like Unni because he is scaring them by asking them to sing swaras, too complicated, at this stage,
M J S looks bored & stale.
Vani always is secondary to me.
The music director( I forgot his name) is good.
Eswari is also not bad.

Toodays entrants into the ISS 2008 arena
ImranKhan- He seemed a friendly nice motta guy. Was seen joking with the judges. Vani asked him if he knew hindi? he said no then Vani asked him how he sang hindi songs without understanding the lines. His answer - "Srtikumar okke stage il hindi paattu paadunille athu pole thanne annu ennu"
Oh God you should have seen MGS's face.

The other two entrants are Sangeetha and Arya.

Hi Sujithra,
In this forum everything will go on not only chatting, friendly bantering and some times severe arguments will also take place. Everything goes here, don't worry you'll know and see everything here. That's why we get addicted to this forum and don't ever like to leave the place.

As Chithu said it is very boring and will be boring till the auditions get over and the prog really starts.
By the time Manju comes back everything will be allright and the serious business will start.... Right Manju?
