Watching this show regularly...
As u all said recipes could be shared...

My fav are Priya and Pooja...
Ilavarasan is talented but think he is over confident. Thats y he was not able to do well in Biriyani/fried rice round.

I have a doubt about Suresh. The judges are master chefs. But Suresh judges very well and shares many info also... Is he someway related to hotel management or just a good foodie???

 

More of drama than actual cooking..

Except for few tips like how to lock the contents into bread before frying, etc., no big use of this show.

 

Can any one tell me who is priya... I cannot recollect seeing her in TV

PRIYA is Tv Anchor in DordarsN in 86 for songs for chennai only i think see is called as Metro priya,she is first anchor in tamil and make a new trend that time.

 

I liked the last episode..
cooking in earthern pots and with traditional methods.. no cooker mixie etc

i dont know why they keep lalitha still in top 5
yeah she might be experienced and cooks really well..
many times noticed her attitude was not good.. she would never agree with judges' negative comments
seems like odd one out, and doesnt mingle wit others

and in a row 2 times chef of week for her
is lil too much boostin her confidence
I think Illavarasan should have won that episode

Pooja was far better, creative... and sincere
they might hav kept her in top 5 list..

 

Yes I agree... Also she doesn't give much of innovative recipes..

 

Yes, completely agree. Lalitha always uses fish -- both times she got 'chef of the week' she used fish only. And she never accept her mistakes. She didn't deserve it - Ilavarasan should have got it for taking the effort to make truly traditiional & village food,which we don't normally cook . All his dishes were unheard of before - but Lalitha's dishes even routine cooking, people do that kuzhambu & puttu. They goofed up in giving her the award :rant

And yes, Pooja was very good - innovative & clean too !! But this Sandhya is such a messy/sloppy cook & totally impatient. It was irritating to watch her banging the 'jonna roti' in frustration & pouring the kadai of oil & using 3 stoves and area all around her --she should've been eliminated instead of poor Pooja.
Hopefully Pooja will come in wild-card round

Yes its surprising Sandhya hasnt been eliminated still...Pooja was nice with her recipes..

 

Very sad... IIlavarasan got eliminated this week... He should be in the top 4..
Alas!! Sandhya is not getting elimitated.. SHe is performing in the elimination round and escaping
Hope she is not in the top 3
