Oops in Lakme Fashion Show !!!

I saw the TV News today and they showed today's Lakme Fashion show where a model was wearing a top designed by a famous designer on the ramp and suddenly the top came off ! In the auditorium packed with famous personalities and world media, such an incident was real shameful. Shouldn't the fashion designer be more cautious while designing their clothes? A heavy top (bra) just hooked by a small thread type necklace was very careless. I think designers should be more careful while designing their clothes to save the dignity of the models.

The model was Carol Gracias who went through this unexpected accident. But hats off to Carol Gracias who managed to take it in a very dignified way and completed her catwalk. This is called utter professionalism. Carol Gracias did not even blink her eye on the mishappening. Though the fashion designer Bennu Sehgall should have taken more care and must have taken trails before sending Carol Gracias to the ramp.

That's really crazy to have such thing happen in front of such a big crowd and when the focus is all towards the person on the stage.

I always use to think of such accidents looking at the way those fashion clothings are designed

Though it is Kudos for the model Carol Gracias, the designer Bennu Sehgall whose dress went off the top of the model got the most benefit of the incident. She is on all the TV channels and discussions. Dresses designed by Bennu Sehgal are on the front pages of all the popular news papers and she is the one who got the most benifited from the incident.

Benu Sehgal at the end of the day seems to be very happy that it happened and she got the leap above the others. Now everybody know of Bennu Sehgall more than the model Carol Gracias.

So, do you mean it was a preplanned malfunction of the dress worn by model Carol Gracias? Maybe Bennu Sehgal had it in her schedule and that explains why the model Carol Gracias did not even blink her eye when the top actually came off

Every TV channel had a discussion forum with Bennu Sehgall the fashion designer from Lakme Fashion show explaining the incident and also taking the opportunity to show and discuss her collection. The media discussions on TV give a better mileage than the show to Bennu Sehgall.

This may be a preplanned malfunction for Lakme Fashion Week. Who knows? The Dy. Chief Minister and Home Minister of Maharashtra Mr. R.R. Patil has ordered a Police enquiry on this issue.

There was another malfunction in this Lakme Fashion week. The model Gauhar Khan's zip of her black skirt broke out. The audience were watching her bare bottom and cameramen were busy shooting it. The print media took all advantage of this Lakme Fashion week and printed photo graphs of Carol Gracias with bare breasts and creating a excitement.
