    When I was introduced to south korean drama by my niece,little did I realise that I'm going to be addicted to the high school romance.I watched the movie "My little Bride" for the first time and my mouth literally gaped when i first came to know how the korean language sounded.But once you are used to that you will start enjoying.Filled with masalas of Indian cinema I became a fan of MoonGuen young and started browsing her career in Google.Though it sounded greek and latin to me I persevered to collect information about korean movies and TV serials.The first TV serial I watched is playful kiss-which talks about the high school girl bearing a crush for a fellow school mate and it happens that they come to live together after the girl's house gets damaged after an earthquake(their parents are friends,which they come to know after the incident)and then I continued to see Boys Over Flowers.Though this drama too dealt with the theme of High School Romance ,it will not fail to throb you.Here i give links to them in you tube .You can continue watching this with english subtitles-If you too are mesmerised by them,You shall remeber me for giving you a break from monotonous dramas of indian serials YouTube Playful Kiss Episode 1 Part 1 7 English Subbed - YouTube let me see how many of you pass comments after watching first episode.And one more thing this serial only has 16 episodes:)

    hi,

    Recentally i have been watching many south korean serials. I liked them a lot. There are many similarities in the social patterns. I like to watch for one more reason most of the serrials run not for more than 4months. they have quality sotry without time pass dramas.

    I just started with Boys over flowers.. like it..
    but not like getting hooked on to it..

    Oh i too lov korean movies.My fav actors are moon geun young,cha tae hyun,jun ji hyun.I have watched few.
    I suggest few movies:-
    1.My sassy girl
    2.Speedy scandal
    3.Jeny and juno (remaked as sithiram movie in tamil/telgu)
    4.100 days with mr.arrogant (remaked as modhi vilayadu tamil movie)
    5.200 pounds beauty
    6.My little bride

    I like Korean dramas a lot....I have a subscription to Drama Fever on my Roku which makes watching easier/better. Hulu Plus also carries many of the DF shows plus a few others.

    I really enjoyed the recent Arang and the Magistrate, currently watching Flower Boy Next Door.

    Lee Min Ho is certainly better in Faith than in Boys Over Flowers.

    My first serial started off with "Boys Before Flowers":):):):)

    I love all of them:)Then the list goes on:):rotfldream high,personal taste,coffee prince,playful kiss,full house,you are Beautiful,200 pounds beauty,My little Bride,49 days,etc...

    Main thing whcih i love about the dramas are they have only few episodes like 16 - 25:)Not like the TAMIL serials :drowning(IMO)
    Environment is always lovely,lively,youthful,emotional love,etc..

    I have been addicted to those serials:) Always googling about the actors,actresses,foods,fashion,festivals,traditions,etcc..

    Currently i am watching GOONG(The princess hours):)Yoon Eun Hye has acted well:)like in the coffee prince:)

    Now days iam addicted to korean dramas. Recently I watched stars falling from the sky. Simply superb who likes the emotional dramas.my fav actor kim ji hoon.I liked his acting in this drama recently iam watching summer scent.
