what in cookery show today

Dear all,

We all have one common interest ie cookery. We all are from different parts of the world and watch various channels and cookery shows @ diff timings. In this thread pls share the cookery programme you watched, that day's menu, receipe in brief(optinal) but mention the channel and timings so that it will be an info for others to watch.

To begin with-Today in sun tv kalai vanakam-8.30am(indian time-every tuesday and thursday) i watched
kongu naatu samayal
menu-veppam poo rasam(neem flower rasam)
INGREDIENTS
veppam poo, small onions, tomatoes, water, chilli powder, daniya powder, whole black pepper, jeera, salt to taste, curry leaves

this item can be had as soup, or with plain rice

very imp tip-this item is cooked without oil, in a plain cooking vessel first veppam poo is roasted, then small onions(shallots) are added, little salt, then tomato, then other indredients

this is a yummy receipe, good for kids

Yesterday in malliga badrinath's arusuvai neram- jayatv 6.30pm IST

3 items were prepared

1.veg soya vadai-soaked soya beans, butter beans, mulai keerai(palak), snake guard, brinjal, roasted channa dal, chillis, gingers

method-soakd soya beans, roasted channa dal gound to vada consistency
ginger+chilli+hing -paste
vegetables are sauted
all these are now mixed and vada is prepared

2.microwave -urundai(tur dal balls in kadi) more kulambu-as usual urundais with turdal, onion, curry leave prepared, coconut, jeera, red chilli, daniya for mor kulambu masala mixed with beaten curd, both are cooked for 6 min in microwave 2gether in separte bowls, later cookd 2gther for 3 min and tempered mustard seeds are added
3.dates raita: beaten curd, chopped dates, little salt decorates with coriender leaves, jeera powder and chat masala

In jaya tv-arusuvai neram on thursday evening 6.30pm

seppankilangu roast-onion+curry leaf+cheppankilangu boiled and cut+turmeric powder+daniya powder+chilli powder+salt+coriender for garnishing

in pothigai thenir neram(tea time), i was watching its retelecast after 11pm in dubai

1.4 o' clock snack-plain cake slice+tender coconut pulp+sugar+boondi+cherry

2.crunchy bite-grated carrot+chopped onion+pomegranate pearls(madulam pazham-anaar)+chopped tomato+coriender leaves+crushed papad+crushed potato chips+chat masala

above dishes are 4pm snaks ideal for school going kids

I saw in the TV that there is a cookery reality show . I don't know in which channel it is.

Do you know where it is? I think it is in a malayalam Channel.

but malliga badrinath who runs cookery show in jaya tv has published many books
like 100 tiffen varieties, rice varieties, micro wave cooking, 100 sambar kulambu varieties ......
these are available in most of the book stores in madras(chennai)

in the same way master chef sanjeev kapoor who runs cookery show in zee tv has put many vcds of his cookery shows, he has cookery website also
