Kumarakom or Vythiri

Hi Friends,

I am planning for a vacation and the places I have in mind are Kumarakom or Vythiri resort. I came to know about Vythiri resort from one of the threads in this forum, it is very attractive but I am not sure of how I would reach the place from Calicut.

I have a son who is 1 yr, so if you people could advise on which place to choose from the above it would be good.

Also about Kumarakom, if you have any information about the hotels or resorts and the cost for couple along with 1yr kid it would be great.
