I am just back from heaven called Mahabaleshwar

Dear friends,
I am just back from Heaven..YES,it is Mahabaleshwar..iam not good in writing, but i want to share my happiness with you all friends.
Last friday morning we went there, took a taxi for half a day trip to old Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, very cool weather, fog, clouds just passed by side, oh really beautiful...
Lovely valley and river. But only thing i missed was actor Vijay's vettaikaaran film shooting. My hubby told me to go near to shooting spot, just a few mins walk, i saw the members, but i told him,it is so boring, i want to enjoy only the sceneries, because i didn't know that vijay was there, some local people said the hero is very ugly,s o i didn't want to go, i made a great mistakefrom the day onwards i had decided i have to listen my hubby's word. The next day only i came to know from another Tamilian family,that it was vettaikaran film shooting. otherwise i'll also write like Padmin madam, paddy with maddy, Viji with Vijay hmm, missed.
Venna lake - there we had a boat ride at 6pm, very silent lake, we just heard only the water sound, even though there were lots of people, heavy rush because of long weekend, we all liked the silence, so pin drop silence in the lake.
2nd day we went to Pratapgadh fort, lovely Shivaji maharaj ka fort. That day was a lovely day, i didn't see sun, no rain, pleasant weather & the market in Mahabaleshwar was covered with fog, clouds..3rd day back to Pune
i wish i should enjoy the same weather in mahabaleshwar again..thanks a lot to god & my DH for the memorable day.

By the way....why did you avoid watching the shooting spot..What a colorfull thread could have been this if at all you had posted Vijay's photo..

thank you so much for the quick reply
yes,iam very lucky best season,luckily it rained minimum so i saw clouds around the Mahabaleshwar throughout the day.
1) You can get lots of buses from Pune,every 1hr'.
2) We stayed in very decent resort,they'll serve BF,Lunch,Dinner,excellent food,i should say feast. Before booking i read lots of good reviews for the resort,so we stayed there(valley view resort) it is not at all expensive,nice staff members.
3) To & from,stay,taxi,shopping everything for 12,000 only,if you go on for shopping i can't help
if you want further details please feel free to ask.

Reg. the shooting place was slippery so i don't want to take risk,if i would know it is Vijay then i don't mind going & get a slip
