Dear Usha,

I had an opportunity to go to Alleppey, Kerala and enjoy a lot.We stayed very near the boat jetty and enjoy seeing these cruises. No doubt, they are gorgeous !!!

As asked about the rate/cost : It ranges from Rs.3000 to Rs.6000, depending upon the season, stay and utilities.

With love,

When I was working in Blore, my DH and I visited Kerala. We spent one night is Kumarakom, next night in the houseboat and the third nite in Allapuzzha.

The houseboat was simply great. It was abt 5k back in 2005 and it included a Chef on board, a guide and the driver of course. The chef cooked such awesome food, it was just heaven...

Must visit place.
