I noticed you are from the Phoenix area. I used to live in North Scottsdale! I recently moved to Irvine, California though. Which part are you from?
Dear Roopa

Welcome to IL. On the day you joined IL and your first post is to my thread. I am very delighted. I am glad you had a chance to visit this place which seems to be Nature's abundance. I am from East Mesa.

Love

Loved your quote.... I am going to show it my hubby!
Glad that you liked the virtual tour.
If you ask me to tell a story, I will tell you in may be two or three sentences because of my lack of imagination..
But I enjoy writing about travels and taking photos.

Smile Spectacular !!

Dear Usha,

Wonderful narration and pictures ! I was totally mesmerized by the pictures of the mountains, spring and the geysers !

This reminds me of a project done by my older son about 3yrs ago (when he was in 5th grade) about Wyoming. Infact, he devoted about 2-3 pages to describe this Yellow stone park with the awesome geysers, their pictures & description.

So, this place has been on my wish list for quite sometime. Your pictures with the description, gave a fantastic virtual tour for me Usha !

We feel so humble looking at the beauty of nature, her mountains and other creations...don't we?

Were there many visitors during this time of year Usha?

One cute thing, I noticed about the flowers were, they were mostly combinations of yellow & purple, purple and yellow ! :)

Keep posting more pictures Usha...feels like I am actually there !!

Cheers
Krithika

Thank You Krithika! We chose a non-holiday time to go to avoid the crowds.

Tetons offer different activities for all and it wasn't crowded at all. It is just miles and miles of Mountains, lakes , the clear skies and us!

Yellowstone, on the other hand was quite bustling with visitors.

I have close to 700 photos, Krithika. It might be impossible to post them all here, I am afraid!

I hadn't noticed that Krithika about the colors of the flowers! Thanks !

Dear Nandhu

Thank you for the lovely comments.

Did you visit during any holiday period? Was it very crowded?
