| Hi, nice to hear about your trip. you need 2 soild days to peacefully tour washington. if u are interested in musuems u'll njoy ur trip in DC coz most of the places are like that.some important places in wshington are white house, capitol building, lincoln tower, washington monument, a war memorial, hstoric musuem, aero space museum and so on. there are many local sight seing buses like 'hop-on-off' u can get down then and there visit the place and take another bus with the same pass. no use of cars while touring DC. so buses are the best.better get a 2 day pass in one such. virginia beach is also nearby. u can combine with this trip. heard there is some falls in Maryland. We too visited DC recently and we combined a trip to delaware with this. Regarding stay if you r a AAA member check with them for good deals. Will update if something else flashes.Safe trip. |
