baggage details pls..

Hi all!!

I am in chennai now and will visit US within 3 months.
can u say me the baggage details to US?
also say me which kind of bags i want to purchase for baggage?
is baggage is there for kid tooo(he is 1 yr old)

A relative of mine came here recently and he said that the baggage weight has been reduced a lot in almost every airline. I suppose it 23 kgs per check-in luggage. One person can take 2 check-in's and one hand luggage. The hand luggage weight is approx'ly 6 kgs i suppose. Plz do check with someone who have recntly travelled.

Which place in US are you going to settle. If at all i'm aware of that place i could help you regarding the necessaries and unwanted things in baggage.

Baggage depends upon airlines

If british airways,you can bring 23kgs and a single person can have two check in baggages weighing 23 kgs each with two hand luggages

like hand bag and laptop bag if any

i think hand luggage can weigh upto 10 kgs

anyways welcome to US!
