Varanasi to Chennai

Greetings all

I'm planning our holiday to India. We want to visit Varanasi (trying to visit my Dad's family). However it seems like there is no direct flight from Varanasi to Chennai - you either have to go back to Delhi or the flight is via Mumbai.

I read that the Ganga Kaveri Express travels from Varanasi to Chennai. It seems like an option but can anyone tell me how long is the journey by rail. I just can't seem to find it on the net.

Ganga Kaveri is Train Number 2670 from Varanasi to Chennai and 2669 from Chennai to Varanasi. It runs on Mondays and Wednesdays only.
