sri lanka is truly fantastic. We did the knady-columbo route too. It was really memorable. The elephant orphange is one of its kind, esp the bottle feeding of young ones. And the bath time in the river is also a sight to see! Tooth temple is also nice. W eloved the people & the srilankan saris and the soft spoken and friendly nature of the srilankans. Lovely cultural folk dances & performances & not to forget gems!! Glad you had a great holiday & would recommend to anyone who hasnt been- its a great destination.

I have been to Srilanka, since my sil stays there............
We took a vehicle from Colombo to BAdulla where my sil stays...........such a wonderful place............
some more beautiful places like Hatton, Nurelia, Bandarawela, Peradiniya Gardens Kandy.
the people are good, the food is also good...........i still remember the way we all ate appams and katta sambol...........vow delicious..........
thanks for making me remember my srilanka trip........we are planning to go during this december
