| I am such a freak in packing... for a picnic..hmmm let me think... first it depends on where you are going.. (1) water related - beach, rafting etc (2) land? - park, forest, hiking etc So depending upon this my pack would be different :mrgreen if water: set of dry clothes, shoes/sandals, lots of drinks and food, believe me with that salty thing near you, u will feel too much hungry and obviously food will be very costly in tourist spots. When packing food... take everything that can be thrown away - like plastic spoons, forks, napkins [$1 types ;)], then simple ziplocs... when packing... pack food for each member.. liek 4 people going.. then pack 4 lunches.. that way.. no hassle after a tiring fun to come and serve everyone. Then have snacks in small packets.. thus now everyone had to dig in the same packet and get upset when its over ;) always have a box in summer at the back of your car.. small container that would have the basics - spoons, forks, napkins and plates As you had mentioned - Medicine - First Aid kit handy is a very good idea..most of the vehicles nowadays have a box already.. but if it isnt.. you please create one and have it always in your car. Cut fruits and pack 'em - like apples etc... grapes you can have it as such.. that way.. no hassle to cut it then.. to have apples fresh - cut and then sprinkle some salt over it.. it will never turn brown..:) Have lots of water... water related or land.. u might need lots of these :) its a good idea to make lemonade.. it will re freshening and you will be the star... I become a bit traditional and take buttermilk at times.. after a long trek.. it will be heavenly :mrgreen Enjoy your summer!!

| Keep the food simple & easy.Kid-friendly food ideas include hot dogs, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, rice krispie treats, juice boxes, fruit and trail mix ,chuvada, ladoo,Sev, Chakali , Potato chips, kurkure, cheese cakes, vegetable sticks, cheese cubes ,biscuits, sliced fruits, crackers and sliced bread are easy and elegant. Vinegar-based dishes are always a fantastic choice for picnics because not only do they stay fresh longer, the flavor intensifies throughout the day, so it’s a sure bet you won’t end up with a bland, tasteless meal. Cola doesn’t go with everything. Some ideas include sparkling water, iced tea (black, green, herbal or other varieties), juice. Don't forget Condiments: salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, sugar, etc. Bring along some toys and games to keep kids occupied. If you don’t already have some toys lying around that you’d be willing to allow the kids to bring, stop by the dollar store where you can usually find kites, Frisbees, beach balls, ping pong rackets, bubbles and more. You could also bring along butterfly nets, binoculars for nature observation, bug jars, and jump ropes. Enjoy ur picnic ![]()
