Default Travel Insurance

Hi,
Could anyone give me the information about travel insurance details.
My father was suppose to have by-pass surgery 6 months back, but he didn't.
He is doing well with medication.
I was planning to get him here for a short period and want to buy a good insurance for him, in case of any emergency.

Thanks,
Punitha

Hi Puni,

I bought insurance for my mom via Visitor Medical Insurance. Visitors Insurance for USA visitors. Visitor Health Insurance for relatives visiting USA.

Most of the travel insurances do not cover pre-existing conditions. So be very careful on choosing the right insurance.

My 2 cents again...

Always go with US companies for your claims might be easier...

many people have had bad experiences with Indian companies
