Bhutan

Anyone has been on a holiday to Bhutan?? Would you like to share your experience here.

Hi Roopa,

My SIL's (elder bhabhi) family is in Bhutan. She goes there every other year (on her trip to India). She tells me that it is a beautiful place..still quite quaint and charming...the king is trying hard to modernize his small country while trying to retain the ethnic charm of the Bhutanese people. The people are extremely friendly and helpful...and the mountain scenery is breath taking. The only drawback is that the country is not all that well connected. The nearest airport I think is Bagdogara in Siliguri.

Would love to go there one day and see it all for myself...
