This place is call Nemili. The Balatripurasundari. The deity is very very small. But if we go inside can feel the vibaration. It is near Arakkonam.

Thanks viji,

yes. Should make a visit there just to see the neivedyam. Charu and Sri do not believe that.

Dear janaki,

Do share more places. with the tension and fast life it would be really nice if we can just relax even for few hours without going into amusement parks or malls.

Dear all,
I just happenned to step into this thread and here I start with...

I would like to add Maruntheeshwarar Temple in Thiruvanmiyur. This temple is located on the beginning of ECR road, just beyond the Tiruvanmiyur busstand. The Gopuram of this temple is still unfinished.

Valmiki Maharishi is said to have worshipped Shiva here. Kamadhenu is said to have poured her milk over the Shivalingam and offered worship. Shiva is also known as Marundeeswarar, or Oshadeeswarar. The Ambal is known as Chokka Nayaki, Tirupurasundari. The Stala Vriksham is Vanni and this is a Padal petra Stalam.

Thiruneermalai:
This is a temple which have two complexes. One at the bottom of the hill and the other at the top. There are shrines for Neervannan or NeelamukilVanna Perumal, Thayar Animaamalar Mangai and Chakravarthi Thirumagan. The Perumal is a Ninra Perumal facing south.

To reach the temple on the hill one have to climb 200 steps. There are three sanctums, one is for Shantha Narasimhar in the seated position facing east, the second is for Ranganathar facing south, and Thayaar facing east and the third is Trivikraman facing east. The three deities in this temple are known as Irundaan, Ninraan and Kidanthaan.

This temple is located in Pallavaram. One have to go into a small cutting just opposite to the Ponds factory in Pallavaram on the GST road

This is one temple that is not to be missed. It is on GST Road next to the Sidhha hospital in Tambaram Sanitorium. Though it is located in a very odd place, you could reach the temple if you have your own vehicle or take an auto from Tambaram Sanitorium station of Mepz bus stand or Chrompet bus stand.

The temple have two complexes. Though it is known famously as Rama Anjaneya Temple, this also have Vaithyanatha Swami shrine and Thaiyal nayagi shrine. The entire temple of Vaidhyanathaswamy is constructed just the way Vaidheeshwaran Koil is constructed.

Vinayakar,Murugar, Vishnu Durgai, ,Dakshina Murthy, Navagrahas in Vaidyanatha swamy premises

Anjaneyar, Mahalakshmi Thayar, Sri Chakrathalwar,Sri Narasimar, Sri Andal shrines are present in the Rama temple premises.

Anjaneyar is very powerful. devotees used to tie coconuts praying for the fulfilment of prayers of marriage, examination, health etc.
