Hey everyone..

I have my first anniversary coming up in January end..and I want to travel to a good location to celebrate it..

So guys please please help me and suggest me a good place in India where i can travel..leaving apart Maharashtra (as i live there) and Kerala (went for my HM)..

If you have been to some place and you found it good enough then let me know..I want to go for 5-7 days...so that i can have a good time with my hubby..I stay with in-laws so no quality time with my DH

If you have any itinery then it will be of great help to me..

So help me guys!!!

 According to me Nov to Jan are the best option to jeanery so I will also enjoy this winter season on hill station I love to see snow fall

I have never seen snowfall...so ya lemme think of a place with snowfall...

Living in the northern USA, going to snow sounds awful and I have shivered in N India in Jan. I would recommend Coorg area.

hehehhe...but i think I should try it once so lemme c if I can find some good places..or else yes coorg is a fantastic place..have heard lots about it!!!

If you have not been to south India, then down south, I would recommend KodaiKanal. The place is nice and still retains its old charms. There are lots of good hotels and you coukd choose from their honeymoon packages. Once DH and I also spent our anniversary there. We had been there for our honeymoon, so we have a lot of lovely memories. We have also spent a week in Ooty. Fantastic holiday....from there took a day's trip to the Mudumali wildlife sanctuary. Be prepared for the chiiling cold if you are planning any hill-station.

In Karnataka, you can do Coorg-Mysore-Brindavan. Thats also nice.

Goa is a great place to go if you are looking for a fun-filled beach holiday.

Thanks so much for the info..Mudumali wildlife sanctuary?? Never heard of this one before?? how is it?
Ya goa is another place we can go to....

You should definitely go to kerala house boat trips.. best is dec end and jan begining.. i wanted to go again.. went in august.. though it was off season we as one enjoyed a lot..

I do not know many places, but I can suggest something different.

Since you have 5-6 days, try to cut down on travelling.

One option I can suggest is Wai-Panchgani-Mahabaleshwar. The base for these 3 is Waiitself. There are a lot of places to see in Wai.Like lake, dam , temple etc. It is quiet and nice. For shopping and sightseeing visiting Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar is nice. Try to find some resort/bungalow in Wai as rates in Mahabaleshwar are slightly higher. But January would also be cooler. So if you like cool weather, this is an option. Search on the net for Anandwan Holiday Home, Wai. It is a quiet and reasonable place! If possible get to see the place before booking
