Everyone of us have a dream vacation in mind. I've too many. Paris, Peru, London, Egypt, Bahamas, Most of Europe, Leh, Agra, Singapore & Malaysia! Can't recall the rest. Whenever I see some beautiful place in a movie or a poster or something on TV (I love travel shows!), I will make note to myself that I should visit these places after I save enough money and get retired. So tell me what is(are) your dream destination(s)?
hey this is cute thread....... I wanted to visit, Aspen, CO....marroon bells...and god made it happen!!! we planned n booked the trip sooo suddenly....and I loveeed the trip...amaaazing views and weather and city..... I would love to visit Paris, Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, kanya kumari, kodai canal, ooty, shimla, vaishno devi, Amritsar golden temple, all kumbakonam temples, I have already visited Agra (which was on my list previously) so...this is my current list of dream destinations
Hi Srividya! Wow.. Your list is awesome! Amritsar golden temple! I am in for it. It reminds me of 'Ek omkar' song from RDB. I've been to most of kumbakonam temples. Real beauty! Tanjore temple is the best of all! I went there and stood with my jaws open. Amazing! Where is this marroon bells? never heard of it..

I have always been fascinated by Chinese art and culture and if given an opportunity, I would definitely like to see mainland China someday!!! I know it sounds a bit weird...but hey, no harm in that right? As for romantic destinations, a trip to any hill-station in India will do (but in winter!!!). But yes, I would definitely like to see Darjeeling and Shimla. For that matter, Kodai is one hill-station in Tamil Nadu that has been able to retain its old-charm still and I would love to go there again and again.:kiss If it is for the fun part, then its Goa during the carnival and Germany during the Oktoberfest.:cheers On the spiritual front, i would like to visit Vaishnodevi and Shirdi and Nepal for its monastries and Buddhist culture. I would also like to see the Mount Mary church in Mumbai. The list can go on and on......
Nice thread ! My dream vacation spot is always the mighty KASHMIR! And next to it i would like to visit Swizz! Anything which is rich in wild life attracts me more!
