Help us become a 100,000 member community!

Dear IL'ites,

Today, we became a 10,000 member community! What a great news! All your interesting posts and enthusiastic participation is what got us here. A BIG and sincere Thank you!

We want to continue increasing the value of IL to you. For that, we want the community to grow. The more members we have to answer queries, offer opinions, ask questions and play along, the more fun and valuable IL becomes to you!

The best way to grow IL without diluting our ethos is through the word of mouth of our existing IL'ites. That is how we grew to this strength in the first place.

As we look forward, here is our aspiration! We want to be a 100,000 member community within the next year. When we hit 100,000 members, we will celebrate by giving away a Dell 1420 laptop!

To facilitate our journey towards a 100,000 member community, we are opening this sub-forum to educate members about the "specific" ways they can help IL grow. There are plenty of tiny things you can do now! Atleast the first two ideas, request every IL'ite to do.

Each of the below ideas will open into a new thread. If you helped IL in any of the ways below, we would like to know. So, please update in that thread. Also, please read the next post for details about the Dell 1420 laptop giveaway!

1. Add IL to your personal email signature
2. Tell-A-Friend about IL
3. Introduce IL to a mailing list that you belong to
4. Get a link to IL from your favourite website, blog etc.
5. Put IL flyer in Temple, Shops, Community Halls that you visit
6. Get a write-up about IL in magazine, newspaper or website

Dear IL'ites,

As always, we will be grateful for all your help to become a 100,000 member community. When we hit 100,000 members, we would like to appreciate the member who has been most "instrumental" in helping us get there. As a token of our appreciation for that special individual, we would present him/her with a Dell 1420 laptop! Yes!

When we say that the gift is for the person who is most "instrumental", we are referring to that special IL'ite who was most impactful in growing our community by executing most, if not all, ideas here. Once we hit our goal of 100,000 members, this special IL'ite will be selected by the Administrators/Moderators solely based on his/her contribution towards the goal. So go ahead, participate and execute as many of these ideas as you can!

Don't forget to tell your school friends, college friends, family friends, relatives, neighbors and colleagues about IL!
