IL Valentine! - Contest for February 2009

Dear Indusladies,

I would like to nominate 'Rihana' as the valentine in IL.

I simply love her posts. She posts very helpful content in a very friendly manner always. Especially I like her recommendations to the posts in the family forums. She sounds very experienced and practical with her suggestions to many issues discussed in the family forums.

Rihana, I am glad I had a chance to speak out about your participation. Thanks for your wonderful posts. Keep them coming for it will be very helpful for many young ladies who come in here for advices.

I would like to nominate Shanvy (Shanthi) for IL Valentine.

From her blogs and posts, I always used to admire her about the abundance of information she has about the article / point she is putting forth.
I have interacted with her in the thread, "lets learn a song today" but I keep seeing her in many forums especially about schools in chennai, about upbringing of kids and the positivity in her posts made me like her more.
She is always ready to help others with the information she knew.

I would like to nominate Ansuyafor the IL Valentine Contest for February 2009. The reasons for nominating her are:

1. She makes quality and standard postings in the forums.

2. Her advice is not only practical but also intelligent and balanced.

3. Even though she is knowledgeable and wise, she also understands our emotions. So she has a good balance of both EQ (emotional quoitent) and IQ (Intelligene quotient), which is extremely rare these days.

4. She encourages women to come out of their shell and lead a dignified life instead of being a victim of circumstnces by giving silly excuses to satisfy the in-laws.

5. She has knowledge. She is wise. She is mature. She can explain any criticism pointed towards her comments in a very convincing and intelligent manner. Also, It is also very difficult to criticize Ansuya's comments as her views are rock solid without being sarcastic.

6. She is also very helpful. I also see a good friend in her.

All in all, I think that she is very very intelligent and knowledgeable.

My nomination for Krishnamma for her contributions towards keep fit maintenance and several recipes aswell.

MY Nomination to our Pregnancy Forum moderator, Priya_Mommy for her advices on pregnancy related stuff and various forums aswell.

My vote goes to Ansuya - she is an awesome person and I can only nod in agreement with what everyone else has to say. I am delighted for you Ansuya.

I also would like to add how much I enjoy Shanvy, Sunderusha and AC's contributions!

Wondering who among this IL family would be my valentine - would it be Riyasmommy Raj or Vahee or Traveller Latha, or Pavarun for their detailed contributions to aid my parenting woes.. or would that be Shanvy for her analysis on schools that many of us are benefitted with, and many others too.. or one of those ladies contributing to the forums that I visit only when i find time ,still stunned with their contributions to various other subjects ? I really feel like nominating all of them - this is a real tough contest. IL has exposed me to a new world of women with different perspectives, talents, all of them determined to make some meaning with their lives.

End of it, my vote goes to tikka (Krithika) whose contribution to the baby food/infant/toddler sections I find to be very rich, researchful and useful. There are times I had to have a dictonary next to me while reading her posts, nevertheless worth it at the end . this post is also for the subtle touch she has given to my other personal issues as well related to parenting. thanks krithiks.. and the other moms who have been contributing to these sections.
