Thanks for the encouragement. I feel motivated to participate in further contests. This was my entry. Hope you all like it.

Previous years I have had set goals for Mortgage reduction, Health and exercise, Time management, good organizational skills etc to name a few. Most of them, I would say that I was able to achieve a good portion of what I had aimed.

This year my goal is to see that I make it a point to do one good act every single day. It could be a very simple matter as opening a door for an elderly person or volunteering for a huge cause. Then that way I will feel that the day was well lived. If for some reason, I would feel that I have not any good act any single day, I would have to do two good acts the following day.

In short, if someone gave me 366 roses( this year being leap year) , I would like each and every rose to have an unique and heavenly scent.Same way, I would like every single day to be a day spent in service for someone a little bit.
