here's one remedy to stop thumb sucking

hi all,
my son was also sucking his thumb till now. he is now 2 year old. we get a solution called FEMITE SOLUTION in india. we get it in pharmacy.
its like a nail polish remover ie transparent in color n it has a very bad smell..i just applied to my son's thumb n it dried within 2 mins...then if we wash his hand also the smell did'nt go...it stayed for almost a day..
he did'nt tell me to rub as it was colorless..he just did'nt suck again.
it worked for my son n hope it will be useful for ur kids also

Thanks Titli. I should buy one when we visit India.

I tried Castor Oil, Neem oil both did not work. He seems to like the bitter taste:crazy

Will try this one. He is 28 months and still sucks his thumb

Thanks for the idea.But is it eatable.If the kid swallow it, won't it affect him.Please clarify me.And who prescribed this for you.My DD is 15 months old.She too sucks.
