| Hi, My 3 yr old son used to scribble on the walls with crayons. For this reason I didn't buy him any coloring book or crayons. Now that he has to actually do it for school, he is not coloring properly. Help me out. Viji |

| My son at that age was like that.. it will become o.k. I feel boys are more like that than girls. Give him extra practice if that will help. |

The reason behind colouring activity is for hands to get co-ordination so when they start writting latter it will be easier for them. You don't need to practise your child to colour properly. Its something he will learn by himself.Just give him enough opportunity. Provide him needed resources.Encourage him and put whatever he has coloured in fridge and call it as his project. He will start getting motivated. The key is enabling them to do certain activities not instructing on how to do it. Hope it helps Thanks Mangai
