@luckyhappy - I am also trying for my LO. I had introdcued sippy cup to my kid at 6 months but still she won't drink anything else from sippy cup. but my kid is not the only one. I have friends with kids > 2 yrs and still on bottle. Needs lot of patience and persistence and it will reduce milk intake also ..One reason I stopped forcing my Lo now. She is not eating well so I do not want to have her less milk now.
I am also facing the same problem. My daughter is 1.7yrs old. She is having water also in feeding bottle. Tried to use straw tumbler to drink water. She is not comfortable with that. So giving water in normal tumbler. If she gets practiced well will start to give milk also using Tumbler. Ofcourse we need lot of patience to do this.
U can try by applying neem oil to the feeding bottle nipple. Definitely they ll stop using the bottle. By that time u give sipper or small tumbler. Regards, Sowmya
