hi manpreet,
panav started having milk, water juice etc from a glass or cup since he has been 1 and 1/2 yrs old. i only use bottles if we travel or are out. honestly speaking, if she is having from the sippy cup let her. at least she doesnt trouble to have the milk like most toddlers.all the best!!

Hi all,

frm wht age does kids start having milk say abt a cup full at one go.

i hav a daughter aged 2.9 yrs n she wuld hav her milk at one go whn she wuld hav it in bottles or in sippy cup,whn i switched her to normal tumblers ,initially she was receptive n wuld completly finish the milk .

but these days she takes around half an hr to finish the milk.n after 3/4 done she makes her face as if she will give out the milk.

is this normal?wht shld i do to stop this habit of hers?n hope tht 500ml of milk is enough for toddlers excluding the other milk products.

experienced moms pls do give some solutions to tackle this .as sometimes in the mngs i get hyper if she doesnt finish her milk properly.

bye
raji

Hi, raji

i think both of us are sailing in the same boat, i have a son who is 2.10 and still drinks from a bottle, have tried a no. of things, and variety of cups but whenever he sees milk in any other container he just refused to even touch, also tried giving milk in a variety of ways, he does drink some part but still needs his bottle. i didnt have much problem with my elder daughter who is 6 ys now, but this chap is troubling me for every habit. hope we find a solution.

regards
sanyogita
