When your toddler started having milk in normal cup

Great input. until i came accross this thread i never thought of shifting her to tumblers. Thanks op for bringing the topic.

I want to switch to cup.My son likes to drink water alone from tumbler.If i add milk he returns it.I feel bad to go cold turkey.I have tried all brands and models of sippy cups.What does normal cup mean?What are the types?

Normal cups means normal plastic cups(just like tumblers)which is availble in various colors,themes and shapes..Just check out babiers r us..Theyve got some cute collections of cups..But i mostly avoid plastic tumblers or cups..
u can even try silver tumblers which r usually blunt...

My two and half year old has started drinking milk from tumbler. we have a poster showing a girl drinking milk out of a glass.. that helps. also i get her close friend once in a while to tell her that drinking from a tumbler makes her a 'big girl'. she understands that from her friend better than me.

Hi ramyanand..Thank you for the information..My son is not showing any interest in drinking milk from tumbler(indian type baby tumbler) or any other source.He drink swater from a sipper with straw.Can I give milk in straw cup..?I think cleaning milk residue is tough..Have any of you tried this method?pls give your suggestions.

My son used the sipper till he was almost 3. Then we got him a plastic cup with a handle and used to pour small amounts of milk into it and make him drink from it.Slowly we increased the quantity of milk and then finally he could hold a full cup of milk and drink on his own.Last yr,when we was 4 1/2,we went to LV on a trip and there we got him a porcelain cup with a picture of the LV strip on it.He calls it 'his LV cup' and is so thrilled to drink from it!

It was nice to ur doggy's picture in your avtaar. I jsut wanted to tell u tht I was surprised he/she? is resembling my dog as if they are twins . My dog's name is chotu. he is 6 years.
I do not have his snap in my office laptop. May be when i get time i will post it.
