    Re: super mommy challenge

    hi
    ramyaramani
I am trying to teach my dd to go to bed on time at 10.00 I think I am getting 80% success in that
my dd goes to bed by 10.00 by 10.20 she sleeps
and wake up at 8.00 a.m in the morning
now I want to maintain daily 1/2 hour in the morning and 1/2 hour in the evening I will teach her rhymes and body parts rhymes
so that she can learn body parts
as well as trying to teach good habits like cleaning up toys while you play by making it fun i also clean up with her and sing a barney song clean up clean up she likes that and do that chore with me..
I am trying a new site in which some of the lessons are free
starfall.com and jumpstart which teaches phonics and reading and maths counting etc...
how old is your baby and what are you teaching them

    hi
    my kid menu plan yesterday
    morning sweet semiya
    lunch roti and curd
    dinner khichadi and kadi

    time tabel
    8.00 a.m wakes up
play and watch tv for 1 hour
    had b/f
then play with me 1/2 hour ringa ringa roses and peek a boo
then hadbath and go to bed by 11.00 a.m after noon nap
    then 1.00 p.m wakes up
    had lunch
and play with me peek a boo for agai 15 minutes
after that do drawings-scribbling 10 minutes with me
play with her kitchen set and blocks
    then watch tv 1 hour
and then snacks at 4.00 p.m
again watch some nursery rhymes and phonics songs and number land learning
    she can count to 10
    know some letters continues a-e
names of colors but not properly recognized yet
    shapes she knows mostly
and after that we go outside for 1/2 -1 hour any friends house she play their ball and with their kids she enjoy
after that 5.00 come back home
    she had her milk
then dad came from office she play 1/2 hour with her dad
then again she watch tv for 1/2 hour-1 hour
then i play with her read her a story
for next 1/2 hour and she had dinner
after that I play ball with her , pull her a cycle for next 1/2 hour and then she dance for next 15 minutes
after that she watch 1/2 hour tv and i finish up my chores
then i gain I read a story for about 10 to 15 minutes and then its time to bed.
everything is fine in my daily time tabel but I want to reduce her tv timing and make her indulge in different activities as this is a small town and their are no activities too for 2 year old toddler
what you do instead of watching tv with your kids
    pls share your views

You can replace Tv time with any physical activity.10pm is too late for a two year old kid.Try to change the bed time .Rest is almost similar to which I follow for my 25 months old DD.
